The name above All!

There are LOTS of names in this world. All of us has been given a name. Esther had lots of names, given in love... Ewings Sarcoma is also a name. One day ALL names will bow to the name above all- Jesus ( Phil 2,10-11 ).
Jesus walked upon this earth and went through all the things we experience. Jesus had joy and sorrow, he laughted and cried. Jesus was tested in every way yet he never failed. Even in the worst turbulation Jesus stood firm! Everywhere we go today people know of him. The wounderfull name of Jesus speak to all of us.
We, his followers, has a sad tendency of failing.. We could/ should be a reflection of Him ( the salt and the light of this world ) but that is not always what happends.. Why is it so?? The time we spend in Gods word is limited, so is the time we spend with God in prayer. We should abide in him but our focus is elsewhere.........
Its so easy "to struggle and strive". Everyday life can become very bussy. Days, months, years and decades goes by.... When cancer invaded our beloved child everything changed. Life stopped, all became empty. Everything except Esther`s health.
We have a tendency of seeking God during hardship. He can bless us, life can be good and we forget him... In times of war one can observe this. God is usually not a part of a soldiers daily life. During my time in the navy I cannot remember anyone seeking him. When a soldier is sent to the front, in battle. When life is in danger and death becomes iminant the soldier will cry out to God for mercy. We seek him when we experience difficulties. We should remember him in our daily lifes as well.
Jesus was different in so many ways! His life was a sacrifice. The profet Jesaja wrote about Jesus around 750 years before he was born. In Jesaja 53 he prophecy the coming of Jesus in a marvellous way:
1 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
3 He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces. He was despised and we held him in low esteem.
4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we have been healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray. Each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished.
9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.
11 After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied ; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. NIV Bible
Esther often song about Jesus. Her favourite song has theese words:
"Who can light up my path
Like a scent for my foot
Do the night by day
and give me another courage
Who can threaten weather and wind
and quiet every storm
Struggle on the stormy sea
and grab my hand,
grab my hand
Give me Jesus, only Jesus
An endless love
incredibly deep and wide".
