When we were given the diagnosis of Esther`s cancer I started my investigation. Metastatic Ewings Sarcoma ment nothing to me at that time. I had to know what we were up against. This has surpriced and shocked me grately......!

If research has not been done where would we be regarding Leukemia? During our stay at the hospital we met several patients with Leukemia diagnoses. As I understood there has been braketroughs in developing new medicine for treathment of patients in this group. Its wounderfull to hear of this! Esther died the 28.09.2016. She was killed by Ewings Sarcoma. James Ewing (1866-1943) first described the tumour long time ago.. Since that treatment has had some progress but not enough. We have met other children, wounderfull human beings, fighting other types of cancer. They are no longer among us. Many more will follow and I wounder how long...
